hankronI've never focused on a single person, team or set, but when I collected baseball stuff I was particularly fond of Christy Mathewson and Ty Cobb.
As a baseball photo collector, I remember when I got the below photo. I knew the guys on the ends (Ty Cobb and Connie Mack), but I couldn't guess who was the old geezer in the middle. Some retiree at the A's fan appreceation day? Ty Cobb's uncle? The grounds keeper? I showed it to my brother in law who kindly pointed out, "That's Thomas Edison, dumb sh*t."
