brianpBesides the 1911 and 1912 sets, the 1938 set was also issued without an attached coupon (it came separately). The 1938's are always lumped with the 1937 issue because the front design is identical, but as of yet no one has completely been able to identify whether a particular card is from the 1937 set or from the 1938 set. The only way to do this is to find 1937 cards with the coupon intact. The Jim Horne Zeenut publication does list 46 of the 96 or so 1937-38 that had been found at the time (late 1970's?)with 1937 coupons, indicating a 1937 issue date.
The 1933-36 group found in the guidebooks were also issued separately each year, and suffer a similiar year identification problem.
