Reds trading Frank Robinson for Milt Pappas. Cardinals passing on Mickey Mantle. Red Sox deciding that Roger Clemens (four Cy Youngs subsequent) was in the "twilight" of his career. Red Sox trading Jeff Bagwell (ok, so he was only a prospect at the time) for an obscure relief pitcher.
