Default Getting Back to the basics?

Posted By: barrysloate

I agree with Leon. I just scanned the 169 threads and counting related to the Keeler cabinet and although I don't contribute to this board much, I am always full of opinions. Many I keep to myself. But I think it is time for some of the regular posters to take a break. This also includes the Cobb decal bat thread, which gave me a headache and forced me to have my afternoon beer a little earlier today. Doesn't everybody have other things to do than live on this website? It is a useful tool for disseminating information about vintage memorabilia and there is nothing wrong with playing hobby cop and exposing hobby frauds for what they are. But too much of anything is not good. I say everybody take a deep breath, take a break, and get the board back to discussions of vintage material that help educate the fellow collector. All this invective is bad for everybody; you're going to take years off your life. That's just one man's opinion, for what it's worth. Happy holidays to you all.
