Default Common Hobby Assumptions That are Wrong

Posted By: Gilbert Maines

A misconception which I had, before my disillusionment, was that the terms used for card gradig had any relevance to the actual condition of the card.

For example: a card in Very Good condition is really Pretty Worn. And although a card may be just extracted from a new pack, it may not be Mint if it is offcenter, has print spots or contains other manufacturing irregularities.
