One reason people buy them is they are a cheap way to get cards of players certain people cant afford.Theres 19 hall of famers in the set out of 48 cards so that right there is a good reason to collect them.

I assume theres people who play alot of cards too,and collect baseball cards,so this set would really appeal to them
