If that happened, what the heck would they have to complain about? Futility and heart-break is what the Red Sox are all about, and have been since 1917 (or whenever they traded Ruth). They would lose their identity.////////
Im willing to bet every true red sox would rather win the world series than have something to complain about.I honestly cant even fathom someone saying,'oh no if they win the series ill have to be happy and celebrate and look forward to next year maybe winning again instead of thinking its never gonna go right for us'
