I edited the title to make it more descriptive, but I appear to have gotten the set wrong. Thanks for pointing that out, Paul. My 2005 SCD says Herpolsheimer was a M101-4 back, but that shows what I don't know.

The seller is a "drop shop" consignor - there are several of these now on eBay. They don't own the cards, but are selling them on behalf of some walk-in customer. I think their new guarantee is a very nice gesture, although their expertise about the cards' authenticity is anyone's guess.
