T206Collector...one of the reasons I take it so personally when someone bids $50 on an obviously fake Wagner, Plank or Cobb is that they're assuming they have made a great find and that intelligent collectors out there didn't bid on it at that price because they just didn't see it in time.
For all of you new collectors out there, there are hundreds of us that review the ebay listings multiple times a day in order to find value in vintage cards. This is especially true for the very popular T206 set. We are not so stupid as to let a VG-condition Cobb go for under $100. If you are the high bidder on a VG-condition Cobb and the price is under $100, that alone should raise a red flag. Like the $50 Cobb posted above, this current auction shows you what condition your authentic Cobb will be in if you purchased it on ebay for under $100:
