Default Looking for d304 Wagner VG-EX or better

Posted By: Rhys

I try and watch my language but is the correct use of this saying in this context

"paying UP the ...."

or

"paying OUT the ...."

I have heard the first term used in context of someone screwing you, but thought you paid OUT of it when you were simply paying a bunch of money for something that was not forced on you.

Example 1 "That mechanic is chargin so much money, I am going to have to take this one up the ____"

Example 2 "My wife is making me pay out the ____ for the new china she ordered".

Are these terms interchangable or am I just a profanity idiot?

Please help me understand the R rated world in which I live, outside of my PG rated house with three children under the age of 5. (insert pretend smiley face here)
