Default 1916 Tango Brand Egg Highest grade(s)!

Posted By: B.C.Daniels

have had these since late 1992, they are the better of the TWO Mcquillen’s and TWO Murphy 8’s ever graded by PSA. I know. I had all four of them.

There are only 6 Dooin’s in PSA 8 holders and two of them have been cracked out leaving four! Of the THREE Billy Meyer cards in PSA 7 holders, this one is the finest! I had all three to compare. There are thirteen Bescher’s, (the most abundant of the Tango Brand Egg cards). No chipping common to the glossy card sets of the caramel error and especially prevalent in this set resulting in the low balance of the find in such high grade. Many Tango Brand Egg cards look like these under soft inspection but these are certainly the crème de’ crème. I had over 700 total, split a large group and sold them along with Doug Allen in 1993 and these are part of my personal collection I cherry picked from the large group I owned.
