Rob D.I agree that the existence of an original Knickerbockers baseball pennant is highly unlikely. There was a mention of Cooperstown in the original post. Could it be possible that the Hall of Fame, in its early years, sold "throwback" pennants of 1800s and turn-of-the-century teams?
Of course, were that the case, such pennants likely would have turned up before now.
