Dave, you are correct. That's why when I give a quote on something like this I ask what would I pay if it was from Kansas. I factor that in. What can't be factored in is the team. Someone might pay more if their relative was on the team or if it was from their hometown. I know I would pay a premium if this was the case. I would also pay more if he was pictured with a minor league club instead of a town team. Finally, if I had a postcard of the same photo I would really be more interested in it, right Joe.

Mike, if this is something that you just have to have then I see no problem with your $800-1000 estimate. It's very likely one of a kind and you'll probably never see another one. I know I've paid prices for things that I'll never be able to get my money back on. But I had to have them.
