Can't disagree with you there. Like most older guys, he can be extremely opinionated and is not at all concerned with how others see him.
As far as his signing habits, like many other players from his era, I'm sure he sees the autograph business as his opportunity to 'cash in' in a way that he couldn't do during his playing career.
