This fellow is considered a fairly scarce auto--He died in 1965 at the age of 62. Got this in person when I was 16 yrs old (1956) & working as a bellhop after school.
At that time Paul (53 yrs old) was a scout for the Milwaukee Braves and came thru Wellsville to take a look at the players on the Class D PONY League Wellsville Braves.
I carried his bags to his room, received my .25¢ tip, and later when he came back downstairs for supper I had the hotel stationary ready & asked him to sign. The result is a nice large, sharp auto-- in pencil!
