WilliamUp until a few years ago, simply being a fan was reason enough for me. Though your point is well taken. Numerous factors have ultimately led to my self-removal from the autograph scene. Not the least of which are the skyrocketing prices. Jacoby Ellsbury and Clay Buchholz killed it for me. Two players, who last winter had a combined 37 games of MLB experience, each charging more than most Hall of Fame members. Rare or not, that business smells a lot like the baseball card market in 1990.
