Beleive me, David, I agree. I've already spoken my piece in this regard and do not wish to be redundant.

I would like to add that there is as vast a difference between the National Archives and the National Convention as there is between Jake LaMotta and Button Gwinnett! The people who originated the sticker application process were not fully-accredited archivists! I don't know who exactly started stickering, but chances are the idea came from Upper Deck. Not exactly the J. Pierpont Morgan Library. Also, notice the different schools of motivation: profit versus preservation.
