Brian C.With Yankee Stadium set to close this year, it seems appropriate to share this one of the Polo Grounds... and the message it contains. The postcard was mailed on 3/2/23, just six weeks before Yankee Stadium opened on 4/18/23. The second paragraph reads, "The Yankees' new field is within sight of the Polo Grounds. It will be ready by April. Much bigger and nicer than this." Love the Yankees or hate them, it's easy for true fans of the game's history to appreciate postcards like this one.
