Despite (or perhaps as a direct result of) his post-baseball fame, his autographed material fetches fractions of what a nearly unknown player's signature would who died in the mid-1930's. He signed like a banshee, and those signatures are far from rare. His is definitely the most common baseball signature of any 1930's death.
