Patrick NesterI saw the show and thought the item was outstanding. One of the top ten 19th century Chicago items I have seen. I would love to have it as I have the invitation to the same game in my collection. Here is a scan of that.
Look at the invitation below where it says an "elegant souvenir will be presented to each lady visitor at the opening game" I wonder if that refers to that program. I have had this invitation for a long time and I have always wondered what that "souvenir" was. I have a regular season 1885 Chicago program in my collection and it looks nothing like the item that was on Antiques Roadshow. Therefore I bet the "souvenir" could be that item that was on the roadshow.
