Some of these snapshots were taken at the season opener for the New York Yankees in 1913 at the Polo Grounds. Frank Chance was honored that day. I think some of the others were taken on another day, but they all came from the same collection. You can't see it real well in my scan, but the wreath says "Frank Chance Our Peerless Leader 1913" Somewhere on my computer I have a newsphoto taken from that event and if I can find it I'll post it here.
