Isn't the proof in the actual eBay policies and not in this article which is slanted to lead the reader into believing that their policies are inadequate?

Of course, the adequacy of their policies are open to debate. But the proof is also in the fact that if a buyer exercises reasonable caution in the purchase of baseball cards, 99% of the time he will not get a fake card.

And fake is the subject of this post, not grade. Now PSA/DNA could bring a new dimension to gum grading.
