Josh K.Ive got to say that in my book Steve has very little credibility to make any arguments here. The seller was given every opportunity to complete the sale at no additional cost to him - just some extra time. He declined.
In addition, Steve refuses to acknowledge that despite the "as is" language in the listing, the listing violated ebay's policies. From my perspective, that makes any such deal legally voidable.
Newguy - you handled the situation in a completely appropriate manner and should have no regrets.
