Default Moral Question

Posted By: Andrew

Semantics

What does it matter how “exactly” she phrases the question? Suppose she said, “$100 seems fair for the lot.” But the lot turns out to be worth $10K; it still comes down to your conscience. Many factors at play as already mentioned by other posters, but I wouldn’t let the phrasing of the question guide your decision. Then you’re just justifying profiting from an unknowing seller. If that’s the aim – and there’s nothing horribly wrong with that, then just do it.
