Default Why Cobb/Cobb?

Posted By: fkw

More info
of the 12 known Cobb/Cobb cards, 11 have a glossy surface (similar to the T213-2 and T214). The lone example that doesn't have this unusual glossy surface is handcut and thought to be a "proof" or printers scrap. This so called "proof" card is the best condition of the 12 known Cobb/Cobb cards, it sold for $49,223 (March 2001 REAuctions).

Since the Cobb/Cobb cards have a glossy surface they can't really be considered a T206. Maybe a subset of 1, maybe T206-1 Frank
