I have been trying to get SGC to clearly label and slab altered materials for YEARS!!!!!! As mentioned, CGC (their comic grading brother) does it and comic collectors/dealers I've talked with have had nothing bad to say about the process. It certainly has helped the sales of lower graded comics (IMO).

I still see one thing that hasn't changed with SGC but that is another story. One battle at a time here.
