Seth B.I used to work at the Met, and the print room is probably most protective about those cards above anything else. I've sat in front of a Rembrandt and a Leonardo, but they've cautioned about seeing the cards, so congrats Warshawlaw: that's a coveted appointment. For those of you not so lucky, a good selection of the Burdick collection is on display in a rotating gallery just north of the Temple of Dendur in the museum. There are great T206's, etc, but also an outstandingly high-grade collection of fifties cards.
