The Hall of Fame will celebrate the first-ever National Trading Card Day
this Saturday, April 3, with a full day of activities.
Here is the list of events for National Trading Card Day, with all programs
slated to take place in the Hall of Fame Library's Bullpen Theater:
10:30 am:
Sandlot Stories: A Q-and-A with a Baseball Card Dealer
The Hall of Fame's Dan Rothstein interviews Cooperstown sports card merchant
Bob Tricomi about the baseball card industry, including the newest trends
and developments.
12:30 pm:
Rookie Workshop: How To Collect and Preserve Your Baseball Cards
The Hall's Bruce Markusen offers tips on how to organize and maintain
baseball card collections.
2:30 pm:
Sandlot Stories: Three Decades of Collecting Baseball Cards
Come on by and look at some of the most intriguing cards of the last 30
years, including images of Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, and Willie Mays.
