My interest in printer scrap cards is also based on the fact that they can tell us so much about how these cards were produced.

For instance, the Becker card would lead me to believe that the black was printed after the colors, since black was wet and colors were dry. On the other hand, the "brown/yellow" cards that were missing colors, HAD the black. What does it mean?

I would be interested to hear theories from people who know more about lithography printing.
