Hey Paul,

I have the Appling card as well, and agree that the set should be dated 1933 at earliest, with 1934 an even stronger possibiliy (because cards generally come out a year after the photo indicates minimally). If someone had the entire set, and was able to do more research, it would be great to see an accurate year established.
