Thanks for the message. I have been a fan of pre-WWI baseball history for a long time but just really started to collect pre-war cards in the fall of 2001. This was the same time I started to explore eBay. During this time I have experienced the growing pains of buying altered, trimmed and over graded cards. On the plus side, eBay has introduced me to the availability and affordability of modest condition prewar cards. I have learned a lot by reading the threads in this forum and given the knowledge of the people posting here I still consider myself a novice. In addition to you, I also recognized a number of people on this forum that I have had very positive transactions with and that is much appreciated. Looking ahead I will post more if I feel I can add value to any of the specific topics.
