One thing I do add, as far authenticity, expertise and experience goes, the big auction houses (MastroNet, Leland's, Sotheby's, to name a few) are about five cuts above the average eBay auction. I like autographs, personal items and esoteric memorabilia, and I'd prefer to buy those types of items, when expensive, from one of those types of places.
