Default 1894 N360 Baseball Scenes

Posted By: fkw

The N360 cards are fairly rare, and in my opinion very attractive. The lithos are detailed and colorful and the card stock is very thick and of high quality. Most who would collect these types of cards are into the Baseball related Victorian Trade Cards of the 1870-90s as well. I have since sold the only N360 I have owned, but when I bought it originally it was one of about 4-5 the seller sold, and all went for over $100, some of the better condition ones as high as $200 on eBay. There are many different backs (Cockade, Gay Head, Little Rhody, MT Coffey, Helmet, Idea, Pluck, GF Young Bros., SW Venable, etc.). There are said to be 9 different fronts. The exact card I had is actually pictured in the 2003 and 2004 "SCD Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards" (page 37 in the 2004), with a high book of $150 NRMT which I think is about right. I have seen them sell for more than book in the past but most are right about at book values. Id pay $100+ for nice examples if you want to sell any Frank
