There is a Jewish historical society that is offering a 2003 set that supposedly contains all or lots Jewish major league players (19th century and later). This includes many first/only card for many players. The set was printed by Fleer, and is only offered upon specific donations to the society. I don't have the contact info, but they are online somewhere.
