the grading companies are not too "critical" of a rough-cut egde if they are convinced that it left the factory that way.

I have owned several PSA 8 cards with rough-cut egdes ... but then again, maybe they would have been 9's or 10's without the rough edge??

But those were NOT Old Judge cards.
