Very well said, I'm just sad to see "collectors" wanting to see prices go up. Goes against everything I think the vintage baseball card genre should be about. I don't mind people paying outrageous prices to get a card, but why would any true collector wanna see a high price paid, or more people getting into these cards and driving prices up? Just means all the cards we want to collect are going to cost more from now on.
The last thing I think about when buying these cards is how much they will be worth in a few years.
