A rule of them is that if the seller says the card is a reprint (including 'Looks real to me, but to be safe am offering as a reprint'), for bidding purposes assume the card is a reprint.

Someone will argue to the effect of "But what if the card really is authentic. I know the seller is offering it as a reprint, but he says it looks real to him and the card looks pretty good."

The answer is simple. If the seller claims he can't tell for certain the difference original and reprint 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle, you shouldn't be buying 1952 Topps Mickey Mantles from him online.
