The only thing you need in order for evil to thrive is good people who do nothing.

We are good people doing something - naturally, the evil people don't like it. This is normal and has plenty of historic precedence, so no one should be surprised by the behavior of "ohiotarheel...", or the supportive reactions of "bigchiefmike" and "sweetguy".
