Tim NewcombA big disappointment. First big show I can remember where I came away with $100s in my pocket! There was nothing to buy-- at least not my stuff. I've found more at the quarterly Sun-Times shows. I'll think twice before making an effort to go back to Sportfest, frankly.
On the bright side, I found a few off-grade 1921 Exhibits I needed, and best of all, the R314 borderless Joe Vosmik batting variation, which I had come to believe was only a myth. This completes my borderless set (of course I thought it was already complete)
So I guess it wasn't so bad after all.....
