JCIt was me who the CrazyCunuck played the game with on the Goudey set. It was a 33 Goudey set advertised in VG condition with nice PICS of the cards. The reserve was 7000.00 and I ended up winning it for 7200.00 after sniping it at the end. I paid him with a credit card the next day which he took off line.
After waiting 2 weeks for the set and hounding him for the tracking number, he informed me his shipping dept. had shipped it out to the wrong address. Since, I like to work on the facts, I asked him to give me a valid tracking number on that to verify his statement. He would not do that and ask me to be patient as he would try to get it back.
After another week he said he will not be able to get it back and informed me he would send me a refund check. I told him I would rather have the set since it was pre-sold to someone else at 12,000.
Bottem line, he sent the check for 200.00 more than he charged the credit card and then he left me positive feedback as those were my terms if he could not come up with the set. I had to mention to him if he refunded my credit card or If I did a charge back for that amount. It might cause him to loose his merchant account or make him pay one month processing fees up front. After making statements like that to him, he change his tune pretty quick. He is very personable on the phone and loves to tell stories about raising money for sick kids or something like that. I have never spoken to him again.
I don't like blasting people (accept Mr. Mint). That's my story on Crazy Cunuck and I'm sticking by it!!
