In the 6 or so months since I have dicovered this board (still pretty much lurker status but I am working on it!), I have been able to buy cards from some of you, sell cards to some of you and create some nice trades with some of you. Making these contacts with you and learning more and more is wonderful!!!
Living in Holland, there are certain "challenges" that I need to overcome in order to feed my old cardboard passion. Over here in windmill land, there are no card shops, no card shows, no publications. As far as I have been able to determine during the past few years, I am the only dude or dudette in this country who collects baseball cards produced before 1990!!!
This board is more than an internet thing to me. It forms a life line to a hobby that I enjoy so much.
