BcDT-bob,who although is a devout Democrap knows hella tons about cards and is a purist in his collecting style as well as historically knowledgeable. He knows as much about variations within the "classic" E-T-card sets as any of us amd more.He is also a straight shooter.
Speaking of attornies,Todd the M-card king collector.
RunScott, who also loves history and is knowledgeable on real Vintage players who many have never heard of. His sarcasm wins points too if you need a laugh while being smacked at the same time.He is well written and it is always enjoyable to read his true collectible comments.
Pete, who although deep down loves me,loves vintage cards more as validating by outbidding some of my giant bids on cards I know he will keep until the day he dies........like the E-90-3 Chance in the 5 holder I bid $1201.00 on! lol* I respect his pure love of cards as stated on his web site.
Leon-the ambassador ass kisser of us all who holds hands with everyone at the same time so we can try to get along and concentrate on why we are all here-Vintage Cards. he is honest, friendly and one of the few people on here that actually has good advice on social matters concerning riffs. His type collection is bar none the "bestest*" ( patent Leon word ) for a guy only collecting for about seven years. He does need to dump his Roger Clemens rookie card but hey,we all have one of those right!
Julie, for calling me "Narsty",whatever that means and making me laugh.Julie, I only live 35 minutes from you and would enjoy seeing your collection sometime.
Quan, who although is a pain to NO! end ,loves Vintage cards and does have some nice ones and he pays.
Frank Ward, who knows a lot about obscure issues and should write a small booklet some day. The detail he gives in scans and description will always prove someone that does not believe their card is a reprint is wrong and we have all seen it doen many times.
Greg Shwartz,my favorite "Taz" who puts me to shame when going a few rounds with someone and knows more than most of us about the business aspect of the grading companies as proven by the posts on Dan's situation. Taz is wiser than his years and knows which company to get what card graded at and all the logistics involved.
Lastly, Senior Wentz. He can go on and on for days in argument like an EverReady battery but you would have to admit that he knows a ton more than most,is super bright and is very successful in the business of card dealing.I would call either brother anytime for advise and have.I value both of their opinions highly, even though Brian rubbed the top layer off of my E-94 Evers I had just purchased from him about 14 years ago at a big show and I wanted to bitch slap him for it.I still respect him.
There are a few other's worthy of honorable mention for their knowledge on specific sets and historical passion of the game. This could deserve additional comments later.
