ty_cobbIn the case of the T206 Uzit brand, it was issued in
1911, and the military cards specifically March 18th.
I would say it is as equally rare as the baseball cards.
T80 brands include Tolstoi (should be less quantities
than ball players as they were issued Feb. 18,1911),
Uzit, Lenox, and the near impossible Cairo Monopol.
In his book American Tobacco cards Bob Forbes alludes
to T80 Old Mill backs, but there is no pictorial
evidence.
Besides T206 Carolina Brights, they appear on only
one other issue, , a 12 card set of nursery rhymes
known as T91. The large, colorful ad back of
Carolina Brights was distributed at the 1907
Jamestown Exposition commemorating the 300th
anniversary of the Jamestown Va settlment. At that
time Carolina Brights appear to be a brand of the
Wells-Whitehead Tobacco Co. (An ATC subsidiary.)
