After getting the Newark Nee for $90, I had about 60 seconds to bid on a Joss, 8 minutes before the auction closed. I know, FORGET IT. Auctionstealer said I had copied the number wrong, so all I had was Ben's link. I bid $700--and was damned lucky I didn't have to PAY $700! I got it for $338.

The Joss is a particularly nice card (and all T205 collectors want one), because there's a kind of memorial to him on the back, as he died earlier in the year of tubercular meningitis; also, the face is extremely expressive. But the item I bid so much on had a g-vg front, and a vg-ex (Hassen) back. A little too much.

I was being literally shoved away from the computer because my housemate wanted to do yoga before he took his bath before he drove me to my psychology group. I was actually relieved when i got home to see i was only out $338.

I have since been shown how to get "my e-bay" to send me an e-mail when a card i want comes up.
