AdamBaxterI took a look at these cards and they are eerily similar in appearance to the Old Judge counterfeits that have been offered on Ebay by seller "tallskinnyalien", a.k.a. mostlymoab, a.k.a. pynetar. I posted a message the other day about this seller and my experience with him, although I don't think that Jode-ball and tallskinnyalien are the same person, anything is possible. The rusty color of Jode-ball's Old Judges is nearly identical to the counterfeits that the other seller has offered. Although I realize that over time N172 can fade and be pink, brown and even greyish in color. These cards and those offered by tallskinnyalien seem to be an awfully unusual and strong rusty brown or orange. Maybe the scans of the cards are just bad, I'm far from a reliable expert on Old Judge cards and I may be way off. Personally, if I couldn't get a better scan of those cards, I would side with caution and not bid on them. I also would be wary of anyone that would start off an auction with an opening price of next to nothing for a spotted tie or hall of fame player. I'd rather pay alot and be sure, then pay alot and get ripped off.
