When I was just starting out on ebay, I felt the need to bid on an item just because it was a good deal. Naturally, this resulted in my collection having no real order or focus...

Slowly, I've begun to realize that it is more rewarding (for me at least) to save your money for something that contributes to your overall collecting aim rather than spending on something just because it can be had cheaply.
