I have heard it CY-cottie, CY-cot, SA-cottie, SA-cot, and lots of other ways. I thought it was CY-cotte but who knows?
I thought for 30 years that Knute Rockne's first name was pronounced "Newt" but discovered a few years ago that the family actually did pronounce it "Kanute."
