Default Neilson Cobb is back...with a twist

Posted By: brian parker

Once again this seller (who earlier put this card up for auction before he owned it, as documented in a previous posting) is up to some tricks--most of them the stupid pet variety:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=1983515471

Not only did the seller end the auction early (the second time for this card) because of the low bidder participation this time around (it was only just over $100), but he relisted it as a private auction with an opening bid of $5000. Ok, so what you say. Well, the lot has already received a bid of $5000. Fishy, you might think. But check out when that 'private' bidder placed their bid--less than four minutes after the lot was listed. It always takes around two hours to be able to access a listing, unless you search on the seller. Furthermore, on the previous listing for this card there was a retracted bid (retracted before the lot was pulled) by bha123 for $5100. Checking bha123's feedback, and one of the two he has is for this seller.

Hummmm....

Brian
