RobertS Does anyone know where I can get a list of major leaguers (players, coaches, managers) who were in the armed services during WWII.
I'm particularly interested if any ever served in Spokane, playing for the team there that often played other Pacific Coast teams from other bases and even high school, college and semi-pro teams.
Since my question about card storage methods failed to elicit any suggestions, I figured I would ask another question that would light up this board even less!
Actually, I could really use the info for a research project I am doing on a trove of old West Coast photos.
