Does anyone know about this series? KitYoung has an Ebay auction on currently for #35- Casey Stengel.

The one KY is auctioning has (cheesy) coloring. I have a copy of the same image but it is sepia toned black and white and it is also supposed to be a 1930s issue (Chicle Fine Pen?). Does anyone know if the same image was recycled for 2 different issues?
